How to add the Wiser script to your website and start collecting data.
Assuming you already have a Google Tag Manager account and have set up a container on your website, these instructions are to be used when adding the Wiser installation script.
As Google Tag Manager strips the Property API key when using the regular JavaScript installation, you will need to use the below script instead.
Step 1
Choose the Custom HTML Tag type.
Step 2
Add a new Tag and use the following script. Wrapping it in <script> </script> tags.
Step 3
Installation should look like the below, only with the Property API key added. You can find your Property API key in the Property settings screen within your Wiser account.
Add the All Pages trigger to the tag, or your custom rules if only wanting to monitor specific website pages or traffic.
